Empty Networks Connections Folder.

Ok Ya'll,

Usually I'm pretty level headed when it comes to my computer. I feel that I know it inside and out and it'll love me forever...or so I thought... ANYWAY!

I just reformatted it since I was getting ready to sell the machine. Of course I took the time to get it ready for the customer, but ATM the internet connections folder is empty. I've scrolled around trying other peoples techniques, and still have come up short and the manufactures website was like walking around in circles anyways.

I'm running WinXP 32 bit SP3
BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
(The mother board says it's running Marvel88E1116 PHY for the LAN card)

If anything else is needed I'll add it, but I don't think this is a video card error O.o, and any and all help is always appreciated

you have installed the NIC drivers right?

Yeah I installed all of my drivers. I've been looking around seeing if there was one I missed, but have come up empty so yeah I've done the NIC O.o


On a side note I was thinking of just buying a card due to the unreliability of the outlet. (Roommate tripped on the cord one day.) And so sometimes it just doesn't detect anything. Any thought or suggestions on that would also be appreciate

This issue has been resolved O.o

I was once again struck by my mother in-law. She threw away my NIC Driver disk which I found in the trash. Anyways thank you joker for your reply and everything is running smoothly...though I still bought a new Network card for a back up when this one goes out.
