Not a valid Win32 application? here's one solution
Hi all. I have had this error come up sooo many times. I could never find an answer and I have read plenty. I am self-taught so forgive me if I do not use the proper terminology. But, while perusing your site today, I answered my own problem and have completed the download as confirmation.
I have spent hours trying to restore all of the programs, games, etc. that I had on my computer. And as many of you, I had a problem with Internet Explorer. A friend told me about Flock, I got it. It's great.
Trying to download a site that I like to play at kept returning the "not a valid win32 application."
The answer was this simple: I had made Flock my default browser. Internet Explorer is the only browser some software, sites, etc. recognize. Trying to download from MSN with Flock browser returned the error. I went to Internet Options and made IE my default and presto!, my problem resolved!
I know this isn't the answer for all of the problems but maybe this can help somebody. Sorry for my long story, bad habit.
Thanks and good luck
