code 39 no audio/cd drive/ plug and play enumerator

Hello

My problem (no sound, or use of cd/dvd drive, or plug and play enumerator) has occurred when I tried to install a usb soundcard (M-audio jamlab). Halfway through installation the computer crashed and restarted. When it restarted I noticed the sound had completely stopped working.

In the device manager my cd drive, soundcard, and plug and play enumerator all had yellow flags and "code 39". Thusly far I've tried "system restore", uninstalling and replacing the "plug and play enumerator" (swenum.sys and streamci.dll), to no avail. I've been trying to get my sound back all night and I'm baffled Any help would be appreciated.
