Hi Everyone,
I know that this question is asked SO often, i have carried out lots of searches and i think the problem is that i dont have a driver..
i am the most hopeless person when it comes to computer lingo so i dont understand how to fix it..
I can tell you that when i go Start; Control Panel; Sound & Audio Devices. Everything to do with sound is grayed out..
When i click hardware i can tell you that i have
AUDIO CODECS
LEGACY AUDIO DRIVERS
MEDIA CONTROL DEVICES
LEGACY VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICES
VIDEO CODECS
Can anyone help by giving me the most easy to understand fix
PS. Speakers are plugged in and the computer is XP
