Unhappy REGISTRY_ERROR blue screen of death

ok first ill say ive allready backed up everything so i dont care. second i just want this fixed asap. so anyway

i got this really horrible screen every time i try to reboot to factory settings that says that windows shut down and then i see this

REGISTRY_ERROR



so now i need to know if i reformat it the hard drive how would i do that and if it doesnt work, what do i do next?

try a repair Install of Windows http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

here the error ive been getting when i reboot it with the disc

REGISTRY_ERROR

technical info:

plus another problem is that my BIOS has a password and i dont know it

heres more info

BIOS version:A02
Processor Type:Intel Pentium 4
Processor Speed:1.80 GHZ
System Bus Speed:400 MHZ
Cache RAM: 512 KB
Total Memory:256 MB
Memory Bank 0:256 MB
Memory Bank 1:[Not Installed]

Security
Supervisor Password Is:[Installed]
User Password Is:[Not Installed]

and everything in my BIOS is grayed in so i cant do nothing until i bypass the security password

and all i want to do is format my hard drive. so please more assistance would be great.

open ur case there should be a jumper to clear the password
and when you get in the bios change the sata mode from ahci to ide and you should be fine

to format the hdd download a hirens boot image and burn it boot and there is a utility to format

someone mentioned it might be my RAM failing. can that be the case sense i used the computer alot for music production?
