From what you have posted your needs should be satisfied here..........

http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us

Select the appropriate Model of your motherboard (Socket 775 then P5VD2-VM SE) then the Operating System and then the VIDEO option and they offer a BETA and one other...I would leave the BETA alone until you get the system working and if you want to try it do so then.

Hope that helps

Hi Andy

I would start by extracting the files using WINZIP or WINRAR or the like to a folder either on the desktop or the hard drive....

Once they are extracted go to DEVICE MANAGER
Go to the device itself and RIGHT CLICK and select Install or Update drivers

Select the option to manually tell it where to look and negotiate the where you saved the extracted files

If you use the desktop it will be something like c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop or the like..the <username> will be the folder for your login name

If it does not see the software in the first folder then go one deeper etc etc till it finds it

When it seems to have something to install select OK and see if it will do so

Often the installer has problems but the drivers are indeed correct

Windows 7 needs this approach when you are trying to load it on older hardware and fudge the drivers install

Hope that helps

Baudy!

Just because the motherboard is ASUS, doesn't have to mean that the video adapter is manufactured by them, too... Unless it's integrated on the motherboard. Also, often, the NVIDIA or ATI drivers will not work (as intended), if the card is produced by ASUS for example (more so, if the dreaded ATI adapter is in question, as NVIDIA usually gets it right). So a visit to their driver page is needed (ASUS), again.
