stupid mouse

My mouse is all spaz.

Sometimes it double clicks when I try to single, other times I cant get it to double click, no matter how quick I click.

I've tried to adjust the settings in the control pannel but that was fruitless.

Any ideas?

what type of mouse is it? do you have the latest drivers? is it plugged in tight? how old is it? check device manager for conflicts also.lastly,you can uninstall the drivers,when windows starts next time it will reinstall them for you.

This sounds like the switches themselves, or the solder conections to the board. a repair or new mouse is in order.

sounds like either your mouse is either:

1. In need of new drivers
2. IRQ conflict with another device
3. Needs a good clean
4. Its broke (nearly)

check out your device manager and goto your mouse and click on resource and see if there are any other devices sharing an IRQ with it. If so try and give it a new blank IRQ if available or share it with a blank com port if available. laterz
