Just a wild stab in the dark...
Do you mean when you open several or many new links (windows/tabs)? And the latest ones just don't load, the page stays blank and after a while it says "Done", but the correct link is still showing in the address bar?
It may well be that you're opening too many new links at a time, and your bandwidth can't cope with the amount of data you're asking it to transfer. After a while the program gives up waiting and stops trying to download the page.
Try opening fewer links at once and see if it improves things at all.
