Speeding up XP Pro

hey does anyone know some simple things to speed up XP? I seem to get slow down sometimes, and it takes a few secons for IE to start and my system is not top of the line but should not seem as slow as it does.. I am running..

XP Pro
P4 1.3
128 RDRam

Is there any simple fixes to free up system resources or anything else? I mean I bet theres a ton of crap that I never use around here...

Your running on bare bones my good man, you desperately need more RAM to see any improvement on XP as 128MB just isnt adequate for it unfortunately. even increasing the swapfile wont help much. laterz
