please explain how you associated the *.exe file with winzip.

In my system you cannot change the 'Opens With' for *.exe files.

Same here, I can't find a way to change the Associated Program for exe's. I didn't think it was possible.

Thinking logically (not recommended I know) but an *.exe file cannot be associated to anything but itself!

And ALL your *.exe files now try to open with winzip?

What is the name of the *.exe file and what program is it part of?

Go to Tools->folder options->view and uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types". Then see what exactly the FULL NAME of the files that winzip is opening is and let us know.
