Mail Messages prompt at adm screen

Hello all,

I've been running XP for almost 2 years and I've never had this happen. Some people were over the other day, after their visit I started getting this prompt about all these unread email messages. It appears below the administrator (word) at the login menu. I have no idea where these messages are coming from or where they are located. I hve never seen this prompt at this screen before. I would like to disable whatever they enabled. Any help here would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

What does the prompt say exactly?

Did the people who came over have access to your PC?

Microsft has released its new version of TweakUI for XP. Version 2.10.0.0. Note that you have to uninstall the old version before downloading the new one, and it only works with US-English regional settings.

In the menu, at the left side, double-click "Logon" and select "Unread Mail". Uncheck the box that says, "Show Unread Mail on Welcome Screen".

This refers to mail opened on Hotmail.com usually. If the people logged in to windows messenger and then checked their mail, that may be the problem.

Yeah, that has to be it. An email address pops up on rollover.
Its gone now. They must have come back from a long weekend accessed their mail from somewhere else and now its gone on my computer. Pretty weird. Thanks to all of you for your help.

njovin,

Its happening again, its like someone else is logging onto my computer, which is not possible. They live on the other side of town. Is there anyway to sever this mail thing?
