COM+ Applications Error

Unhappy COM+ Applications Error

Hi
When i try to access the COM+ Application window from the Component Services console i am geting the following error.

Catalog Error

An error occured while processing the last operation.
Error Code 80040154 - Class not registered

PLease throw some light onto this if you can. Thanks in advance

i need to know the stats of ur comp ie: ram, hard drive space free hard drive space used total hard drive size ect ect.. thanks

Following is the configuration of my machine

Processor: AMD Athlon 1700+
RAM: 512 MB
Total Disk Space: C Drive - 14.6 GB
D Drive - 22.6 GB
Total Free Space: C Drive - 5.43 GB
D Drive - 17.5 GB

OS: Windows XP SP1
(Microsoft Windows Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp2.030422-1633: Service Pack 1)
The above info is from the about windows dialog box.

it sounds to me like some of the drivers or the dll files are missing or missplaced. try reloading the drivers or searching for upgrades on the internet. try morpheus (search for it on download .com)

if this doesnt work then please get back to me. cheers

Actually later i realised that the MSDTC was not running and hence i beleive I was getting that error.

I am thinking of doing a clean install of the OS and running the MSDTC and will see what happens.

If that works i will post a message about the results
