Backgrounds & Desktop Properties

I used to be able to Select all the pictures that I had in the My Pictures folder from the Desktop Properties - Wallpaper selection.
Now all I can select from there is the default wallpapers installed with the system.

Will someone please help me with this problem????

That doesnt work

It doesnt establish My Documents>My Pictures as the default directory for wallpaper pics.

But I figured out the problem

Theres a hidden file called Desktop.inkin every folder that is customized. Most of the folder dont allow you to see it even if you unclick "hidden".

If you want to fix this problem

1. Take your images out of the My pictures folder,

2. Then rid it from all files named, "Desktop.ink" & "thumbnail.info"

3. After that put the images back.

If that doesnt work the start a new accout and place your images in the "My Pictures" folder

Make sure before you place them you rid them of any "Desktop.inf" attachments.
