Ethernet controller driver

hi there,

I have a MACbook and have been using bootcamp for windows stuff. I recently shut my computer down after it crashed.
After I did I couldn't connect to the internet anymore.
When I go to "add hardware" it says my ethernet controller didn't install and it shows a yellow sign with a question mark on it, it then goes searching for it on the windows cd i put in but it can't find it.

since I'm sort of a noob with this I can only say that it is the newest MACbook with a really old version of windows xp home edition from 2002 I still have the cd but it doesn't help. I also reinstalled it but even that wouldn't fix it.

I hope that's enough for an answer, if not I will try to find out more.
