HDD turns off WHen i try to shutdown.
Hi.

I have WIndows XP Pro. Recently when i go to shutdown the computer or restart the hard drive powers down then the computer restarts by itself. I have Bought a new PSU just in case it was a problem but realised my old one was fine.

Can some one please tell me a solution to this problem.

check your power settings in the control panel, maybe the HD was set to turn off ?
