Removing check box options from MSCONFIG and NAV disabling on startup

OK i've been battling this worm and stuff, got most of it figured out and NAV doesn't say anything is wrong anymore but I have been using the Selective Startup in msconfig because I unchecked the suspiciuos files...well everytime i restart with this option it gives me a notification...is there anyway to permanently remove those checkboxes from Startup tab so i can go back to the Normal Startup option and not worry about the notification...also, for some reason when i startup, NAV is disabled or something and i have to right-click on it and enable it real fast because I don't know if its a virus or if its just the software, does anyone have an answer for this or a fix...please post if you know

UNRESOLVED

No i'm not talking about the services, im talking about this

goto Start > Run > msconfig

in the configuration window, click the Startup tab, and you will see a bunch of options with check boxes next to them, i want to know how to remove these checkboxes and the option all together so that I can use Normal startup, not Selective Startup (can be seen on the main tab when you first run msconfig)

Yep , realised that , but msconfig & services are used together .

NAV you should be able to get starting from within it's Options .

See if any of this helps .

nope ;\ didnt help much ... its all in that damn startup tab, there are checkboxes that i just cant get rid of, if you uncheck them, it goes to selective startup, if you do normal startup, it selects them all but then if you uncheck them again, it goes back to selective startup, whast with that? ijust want a few things in there ;\

Just remembered this .

http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

by Mike Lin which does a much better job of
managing startup programs than MSCONFIG. Download the standalone version)

I've just been listening in here. I'm curious what you think is wrong with using "selective start-up" I'm always using it. I havn't had a system yet that didn't have some piece of code I didn't want running.

If the boot warning which come up is bothering you, just uncheck the box in the window you won't see the message again, and you won't even know your using "selective start-up"
