How to use wake on date/time on my pc system? *help*

Hi guys

I want to program my bios in my windows xp/pentium 4 pc system. I want it to program it to start on its own at a specific date/time. I have no idea on how to use the bios on my pc, a step by step guide would be really appreciated from someone who knows how to do this.

thanks in advance

dave

You need to tell us what Motherboard / BIOS you are using.

Download and Install a copy of Belarc Advisor .

Run the Advisor and it will tell you everything you need to know about your PC Hardware and Installed Software.

I have just checked the Motherboard Manual for your PC and it doesn't seem to have a " Boot at 'Time' setup".

The closest it gets is 'Wake on LAN' or Wake on MODEM'.

It means that the system will wake up from 'Suspend Mode' if another PC attempts to connect through a network using a Network Interface Card (NIC) or a phone tries to connect using the MODEM (similar to an answer machine).
