I have a machine which was running into windows 98. the hard disk was partitionned. i installed windows xp and then i realised that after the installation, windows 98 is still on the system. How can i delete windows 98 ?
You can't,, because Windows XP and 98 both install on the same dirctory called "WINDOWS",, the only thing you could do right now is to remove the Windows 98 from boot menu and that requires you to modify the BOOT.INI (it is a hidden file)
