system speakers: dont need answer just suggestions!! help!!

i recently switched from verzion to cox internet..didnt unplug my speakers or anything but now they wont cut on and i know their not blown..when i go to device manager under system speaker it says "no drivers are installed to this device"? but i thought my speakers still should at least cut on...what are some possible problems?

This seems more like a sound card problem.
"no drivers are installed to this device"
Check Control Panel/Sounds for this kind of check.

if u go to device manager, click on system devices u will see system speaker listed
