Question Command Prompt - VERY ANNOYING!!!

Okay, I saw that my question was not answered. I'll try to be more specific. I have Windows XP Professional Edition. Whenever I go into My Computer, and Click On "Local Disk C:/" (This works also with everything else, including my CD Rom Drive, my folders, ect.) It comes up with a new window. The Window is called "C:/WINDOWS/System32/cmd.exe". It is a window exactly like Command Prompt. I cannot see my folders or anything. Before all of this happened I compressed all of my folders or something. I had made a lot of changes, and then I found out this happened. I have tried to decompress the folders, which works, but I still get the command prompt window type thing. Everything worked before I made the changes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is this happening with ...

Left Single Click?

Left Double Click?

Right Single Click?

Right Double Click?

Keyboard Commands ( Tab - Cursor Keys - Enter )?

What Mouse are you using?

Do you get the same problem in "Safe Mode"?

Did you set up a "Restore Point" before doing your modifications?
