Angry conflicts,winxp,aol7.0

Have my P.C. for 3months.Emachines preinstallt with winxp,and aol7.0. I get error messages on a daily bacis from I.E.6.I just got my pc back from the shop with a new modem and hard drive.I still get dropt from aol every 10 min. or so.Microsoft tells me i schould uninstall aol7.0 and get 6.0 because of conflicts , no one i have talked to so fare will confirm this.Can you help?Oh before i send my pc to the shop i uninstallt aol7.(preinstallt)and put in a new one with cd,that did not help.

You want a solution? uninstall AO-Hell, and forget about it. Get something worth paying for.

AOL is what, 25 bucks a month? For Juno or NetZero, it is 10 bucks a month. there is a small banner that you dock on the top of your screen with netzero, but if I had dial-up I would say it is worth it.

Also, if you aren't on the internet a lot, Netzero has a free service: it is free for 10 hours a month.

Hmm why would you have AOL in the first place? do you enjoy frustration?

Why AOL ?

In answer to evil-walnuts question. Net zero has no available no. in my area. Hey i'm in West Virginia.I also dont use credit cards,and aol came with my pc free for some months,plus i'm a new pc user. Hey you live and learn. Thanks to you and this website i'm making progress.
