DVD n CDRW in Windows XP - HELP

Hi guys / gals:

I have an ARTEC CDRW and DVD in my PC with XP Professional. DVD works ok when playing DVD's only, but not data CD's or Software CD's. Whenever I try to copy a CD from CDRW to the DVD drive it wont let me.

I have tried with Nero and Easy CD Creator both the latest versions, and still with trouble, computer freezes and I get an error message.

I have looked for the updated ARTEC driver all over the internet, and seems there is none

Also I have found 2 procedures related to removing the checkmark from the "Copy on the fly" option but so far it hast worked out

If there is anyone to give me a clue, please give a lil help...

So far I believe its just a driver issue, but I cant find ARTEC Drivers for Win XP

All i can suggest is the cd burning update on Windows Update (if you haven't allready).

well first of all "NEVER" copy on tha fly it gives to many problems!!!

if your trying to copy a cd just read it to tha hard drive then burn it back onto a cd-r

and i recommened u use NERO!!! SCREW easy cd creator!!! LOL
