Here is the thing. I am gonna give my pc specs first incase it has anything to do with my problem.
I have:
Abit KR7A-RAID motherboard
AMD XP1900+ processor
Radeon 8500 Video card
Creative Soundblaster 16 sound card
some 15 gig WD Caviar hard drive
and a superdisk drive that uses and IDE port.
I just installed Windows XP on it but for some reason during installation I kept getting the "blue screen of death" giving me the error "0x0000007B (0xf898963C, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)" and when it said something about a boot sector virus may be there and to run chkdsk /f and try to fix it. Well what is funny is I unhooked my superdisk drive and took the hd off the RAID port(not a raid setup) and put it on the regular IDE port and the setup finally went through. Now that I have windows installed, if I try to put it back on those ports, it gives me the blue screen

. Is there a way I can put it on those ports and have XP work? Plz let me know. Thank you
