Weird Typing Problem

My friend goes to type and it gets all messed up. When he presses a key like "t" it gives him something like "tsjl", and this happens with almost every letter and number. He can't find anything to change and he's uninstalled/reinstalled the keyboard
s driver, anyone have any ideas?

Try using a pencil to test the letters on the keyboard, your friend might have a sensitive / broken keyboard.

If that doesn't work try a different keyboard.

Bad keyboard.

Pull the keys off and clean them.

No, it's more messed up than that, I was checking it out earlier and like... you press the left ALT and the volume goes up, "W" acts like ALT + F4, and Shift did some weird stuff also.

He did get a new keyboard already though, but im still curious to why that'd happen.

Has the new keyboard cleared the fault?

Keyboards can be funny things, at work the administration department get through several keyboards each year.

The one in the workshop is dripping with oil and other contaminents not fit to be talked about, it gets dropped, driven over and generally abused but still plods along as if it were brand new.

his keyboard must be dirty inside ( with all that chip crumbs and last months mcfries ) if its still not working well, try to go back in the past and remember when the problem started and think of what softwares he had installed in his computer before it happened. some softwares do weird things in your computer.

I've noticed a cup of coffee or a can of coke in the keyboard does wonders!
