installing blaster patch from update

I have downloaded the blaster patch,when I go to open by double clicking the file this is what I get."Setup could not verify the integrity of this file Update.inf. Make sure thr cryptographic service is running on this computer."
Well my service provider could not help, can anyone out there help. Have downloaded a patch for a flaw in the crypotographic from update, did not help. Am running Windows XP Proffesional and Office XP Profesional with Front Page and Internet Explorer 6

Would appreciate any help.

Right click My Computer and chose Manage.

On the left side hit the + on Services and Applications, and then click Services below it.

Now on the right side find Cryptograpic, right click and chose Stop.

Now go here...
C:\windows\system32 and delete or rename the folder Catroo2.

Then go back to Services and right click Cryptographic and chose Start.

Now install the patch.
