sp1 and half-life

I can't remember who posted a comment that when he installed SP1 his half-life game was running smoothly. can you please stand up to b recognize and how did you installed said game.

I already installed SP1 on my WinXP Pro, no problems, no hassles. Chris helped me. thanks
