where did my ActiveDesktop go??

how can i enable ActiveDesktop, i don't know how i got it removed. But i can't get it on again :'(
Can someone help me?

Are you talking about 98/ME ?
If memory serves, right clicking the desktop gives you the option to enable/disable.
If not, then right click, properties should hold the key. (Desktop tab, button?)

I have XP PRO.
I deleted some entery in Regedit, and ActiveDesktop is back on it's place.
