Question two java vm's

I was just wondering..... Is it ok to have both Microsoft's version of jvm and Sun's version installed? Which one will run the apps needed on the web sites that require java? Will one version automatically be"picked", or do I have to manually choose one over the other? Do I pick one as default?

I appreciated any input....Thanks!

Microsoft has now discontinued java as far as i know.
You only need one, and in view of the statement above, you should use Sun. This has a control panel to enable/disable on the fly and it will install as the default java app.
