How to reset system settings when a certain user logsoff?

Hi there I was wandering if one of you people could give me the answer to this question please...

Ok I want to know how I can do this on my PC at home...

At my work anything you add to the desktop, any system settigns you change. Will all be reset back to what they were When you logoff and then back on again. Example. If you created a new folder on the desktop and renamed My Documents to My Docs, when you logoff and then logon again everything would be the way it was; The new folder would be gone and My Docs would now be My Documets. As for system settings, say if you made the task bar hidden, when you logon again it would be as if you never edited it. In other words everything seems to reset itself.

Does anyone know how I can do this on certain user areas on my home PC?

Thanks.

The Lillster,, You don't know half of the story about disappearing of files. What you login at work is your profile on the server not really your computer. Your network is design maybe a "roaming network" or they call it "roaming profile" that means you could go to ant desk and login to your account and you will see your Icons on the desktop. that feature is achieved by forcing computer to log into a domain.

It can't be done on personal computer.

cheers
