I am afraid you aren't going to get much assistance with this one unless you put a bit more info/effort into your posting!

ok the error report says "Astonia 3 client has encountered a provlem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something the information you were working on might be lost.

Please tell microsoft about this problem.
we have created an error report that you can send to use. We will treat this reposrt as dconfidential and anonymous.

to see what this data error report contains click here" then it goes to a thing that says.

Error signature
appname: new.exe appver: 1.0.0.0 modname: new.exe
modver: 1.0.0.0 offset 0002b99c

then theres a link to technical information and that says

"exception information
code: 0x0000005 flags: 0x00000000
record: 0x0000000000000000 address: 0x000000000042b99c

and alot of other stuff and in a frame thing in the bottom it says
the following files will be inculded in this error report:
c:/docume~1\kyle\locals~1\temp\WER1D.tmp.dir00\appcom pat.txt

need anymore info?

I searched for files containing appcompat, and i got one in windows/temp called NIS which had it in the lines:

MSI (c) (C0:00): APPCOMPAT: looking for appcompat database entry with ProductCode '{AFD2C5B5-BF78-47B6-9569-755448C0D0EE}'.

MSI (c) (C0:00): APPCOMPAT: no matching ProductCode found in database.

^^ those 2 lines are repeated in the document 4 other times

and another in windows/servicepackfiles/i386 in which it was in the lines:

HKLM ,"SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server","TSAppCompat", 0x00010001,0x0

HKLM ,"SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server","TSAppCompat", 0x00010001, 0x0

If all else fails, it could be a RAM issue. That was the case with mine after recently installing some new memory. I tried everything, then reloaded the OS and programs. This thing drove me crazy! Pulled the RAM after I continued to have the problem, and *poof*, no more problems. I just wanted to come back and post this so nobody else surfs the net for 2 days looking for an answer to it. Well, here it is. I know I'm not the only one that this has happened to, so learn from my mistake.
