Angry red warning at log on!

I have windows XP HOME and it was working fine until a couple days ago. When I start my computer and get to the sign
on screen, I click my name to sign on and a red warning window pops. There is nothing written in it and it just has "yes or no" to click. No matter which one i click it signs into windows and
then immediately signs back out right after the background is displayed. I have started in safe-mode to run anti-
virus but it found nothing. My AV software is up to date also. CPU 1500 MHz 128mb DDR RAM 40 GIG HD. Any help would be great.
Thanks!
