Unhappy Lost Password on Laptop,please help

I just got a new laptop with Windows XP on it and its really great.But,I went on a 2 month trip and forgot my password and I didn't write it down either.Now, I can't even get pass the login screen to get into Windows!Please,can someone help me?I'd really appreciate it cause I've tried everything I can think of.

HI, If you can`t get into Windows at all, the only thing I can think of is this.
Reboot and while computer is booting up press F8 repeatedly and you will get into Safe Mode. If you miss it and end up at logon, just reboot and try again, Once in Safe Mode find your Account and I think you will be able to change your password.
Write it down and make a Password Reset Disk
