Computer keeps restarting but not msblast worm

Hey, my computer keeps restarting but it doesn't seemt to be a worm as I've did a complete virus scan with Norton and did a search for msblast.exe.

I have no idea why it is happening but I checked the event viewer and the last thing before my system rebooted was: WMI Performance Adapter has stopped.

you need to untick "automatically restart" right clcik my computer, click properties then click advanced look down you will see "start up recovery" click that and untick auto restart, it will eaither fix it for you if not it will give you a BSOD giving details of why it is happening instead of restarting

It worked! Thanks a whole Now I can leave my comp on to download large files instead of waiting.

Wow! I have a similar problem with my desktop. I'll check it out to get the error code on the next crash.
