I have a number of documents to print several copies of each. I
printed up some 20 copies and the printer quit. I cleared the
Printer (via Control Panel)and tried (many times and many fixes) to print 20 copies again, but it would not print (to any printer), and soon Word was not Responding, requiring shut down and re-try. I rebooted, and finally took the check off of the spool before
printing, and low and behold, it prints - one copy. If I tell it 20
copies, it prints one. If I just hit print, and then while it is
printing hit print again, I once again get the hour glass and find
Word is not responding. I tried with pdf documents and get the same result.
Apparently I've got some kind of spooler problem, but have no idea how to approach a fix.
