Help... winXP pro >< nDivia gf2 not working

Unhappy Help... winXP pro >< nDivia gf2 not working

I got a new comp, installed win XP pro and having nDivia GF2 MX440... trying to install the driver but fail all the time...
Things go like this... I download thousand of driver for XP from internet and install. After installed, restart the comp, nothing seem to work, when i check for the Device Manager, it show VGA a yellow question mark in the Video controller - VGA competible. The driver i used all indicate that are for winXP...

Help me plaease...

first of what drivers did you install for the card? let me know what you may need to do is uninstall your nvidia drivers then go here

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3214 and install that and do what it says it will get rid of anything left over off the old drivers then install the latest drivers for your card also downlaod the latest driver http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_45.23 to your desktop first so when you ahve cleaned up the old drivers from your computer you can install the new one instantly. that should fix it

by the way the latest driver you are linked to is fine for your card as all det drivers are workable with all geforce cards
