Log off and User Account Trouble

first of all i can't switch users or log off of my user account. when i try to do so a box pops up asking for a name and a password. so i type in my name and all the different passwords that ive used and all it does is log me back on to my name again.so basicly im stuck on one user account. next, trying to fix that proplem i stupidly changed the user account that im stuck on from Administrator to limited user. I go into user accounts under control panel and it will not let me change back to an administrator. ive heard that the only way to change back to an administrator is to have another administrator do it. well im stuck on one user account because of the firt problem so i cant do that. does anyone have any ideas??????

Try to log on as Administrator in safe mode.
