My problem is...
Been using xp and media player 9 for a long time with no probs at all. But in past few days i been having problems when i use media player. My cpu usage jumps to 100% and stays there until i close the player = everything operates at VERY slow speed. Even if i change a song from library it takes like 10 seconds to do this compared to earlier instant change of songs. This never happened before to me and i was wondering if any of you might know whats wrong and how to fix this?
I havent change any settings on xp. But i have used kazaa and previewed some avi files (i did read somewhere about this possibly doing some bad things) and installed / uninstalled some other mediaplayers.
I have been using completely updated versions of xp and media player.
