HEllo all.. new person here... I have an issue where my Xp system was running in a single user mode, no log in credentials at all. By accident it was switched into a mutli user mode with passwords. Is there any way to switch back to just a single user mode, basically I would like to rollback to the way it was before the system was changed?

Thank you all...

M

not knowing what all you changed, i would recommend going to the start button, all programs, accessories, system tools, then system restore, select a availible date on the calender then choose a restore point at a time before the change was made and restore.

OK.. I tried that suggestion and for some reason it can not restore from any of the restore points.. I am thinking because I went into the user account and changed to a multi login system .. before when the system booted up it would just go into the OS and not need any login credentials. Since I went to the multi login method... I have to enter in passwords for the admin user... so the change i made was in the user account area.

Use "control userpasswords2" in the run prompt (without quotes) and set upautomatic login here.
