service pack 1 where do you get one

I have a copy of service pack 1 for office xp, but I'm sure it's not the same the windows xp. Where do you buy the service pack 1. My notebook has the service pack 1, but my desktop doesn't.

Run update from Start / Control panel, top left windows update. Make sure your virus and firewall are uptodate.

BTW all updates are free
