Delayed write errors+reg freezes
Hi,
I had a perfectly working ssytem with 4HDs-
30gb,10gb,60gb and 140gb. The 2 large ones are ata. For some reason, i cant remember, i had to reinstall windows xp (clean fresh install with reformat) on the 20gb drive. Since then, when i transfer data to the 60 or 140gig drives eg downloading with a p2p program i get a 'delayed write error'. sometimes data is lost, sometimes the computer freezes up completely(the hd activity light stays lit) and needs a reset.
Also in general every 10secs or so the computer freezes for approx 3-4secs.
Ive searched the net for help but there sint anything. In installed the service pack as well and this didnt help.
