Angry WndowsXP Professional Wont Install - Please help ASAP

Well, heres how it happened, from start to end. Ok, so i was playing sim city 4 on my computer and decided to restart my computer, it was getting a bit slugish. So i restart and and that blue error screen showed up. It said if it was the first time i seen it, just retstart, and all well be fine. So i try to restart, and the same thing happened, so i tryed again, no luck. So i decided that only thing to do is reinstall windows. So i pop in my windowsXP Professional CD, and press enter and agree to the liscence, and go through that all, and then it rebooted. Then instead of continuing to install, it just restarted the install. So i tryed reinstalling it again, and it tryed continuing the install but i got that blue error screen again. So i try again, , and it just restarts the install. I have been trying to install it for already 8 hours and it just wont go. So I had my LindowsOS 4.0 CD on hand so i installed it so i could get some help. But i really, really despise LindowsOS 4.0 so i really want WindowsXP Professional Back. Please help ASAP.

not sure how much i can help you here, what graphic card do you ahve and what drivers are you using for it? give us the rest of your specs please. when you try to install Xp you are not putting the disk in while the computer is in and letting load straight up are you?
or are you doung the set up the correct way, like making sure the first boot order is your rom drive, then placing the disk in the drive then rebooting the computer leaving the disk in the drive then when it reboots you get the message on the screen saying press any key to continue?

Thanks for replying, and for my specs .Click Here. Something have changed like i got another optical drive, and new mouse and Windows XP Professional. Ino they aint the greatest, but i plan gettting a new one soon. Anyways from start to finish iI do:

1) Press F1 on start up, and change boot from disk.
2) Restart computer again.
3) A Pause at the black screen happens and then the setups loads. and i agree to the liscence, and choose my partition, and in this case, i deleted them all, and recreated a new one.
4) it goes though all the setting up and etc, and says itll reboot.
5) Sometimes it boots to the install but i get the blue screen and sometimes it redoes the install.
Before when i would install it, i just put it in, it asks to boot from disk, goes through it all, and starts up goes thro all and done. sometthing changed.

Hello mate, i have posted this on the another site i am a long standing member on to, hopefully we will get to the bottom of this for you, hang on in there, and please keep checking back here as i may well have to ask you more questions that my friends may ask me to ask you.

also the obvious thing to try is format your drive using a windows 98 boot disc, do you know how to do that mate?

I figured out was wrong w ith it. I had Daemon Tools installed ( used to mount CD images Virtually) and it is catogorised as hardware. When my computer screwed up i reformatted it and it couldn't find the porgram to run it upon boot but the information was still in the registery. I don't know how to ocmpletely clear my registery or hard drive. I am on Lindows so i can't use .exe's so i cant extract the images from the files i download from boootdisk.com. So some how i need to get rid of the registery for daemon.

no mate it will not work if you save it to cd, it has to goto floppy although there is boot disk cds, it is not that easy to make one either. here is one way http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/ you realy should get hold of a floppy mate.

here is a good guide to make one http://ghosting.netfirms.com/bootcd.htm still a floppy will make it much easyer
