Disk space problem

Hey got a disk space problem they say i dont have enought space for that when it's only 608mb and i have 2.6 GB of free space. help please thanks

howdy mafoster,,doesn't sound like you have a very big h/d,,could you please put down the specs of your puter,,,what operating system you have,,size of h/d,

ha ha ha ,,,what a dipstick i am,,,,guess if this post is in the xp section,,then your running xp home or pro,,right,,,,,anyway,xp has a habit of using quite a bit of space for your system restore,,maybe you could just check and see what your settings are there,,and decrease them a bit,,,,not saying that this will cure the problem,,but worth a try,,,

Nowdays you need double the space then the program you are downloading eg: dowload 600mb you need 1.2 gig for swapping files.
As stated before you may want to clean up your long list of restores by running your disk cleanup option which will delete all previous restore points and start fresh again. You will want to get rid of your temps and all that.
You may also want to consider compressing your hard drive to make more room.
