WinXP install problems!!!

I have just reinstalled XP, I am having these problems. Everything seems to be three times as big, my cursor is a lot bigger than it was before. I had to install some network drivers from the cd that come with my computer to get back on the internet. Now every time I boot XP the Gateway Application Loader comes up on top of screen saying I have a invalid file name.

It's always better to do a clean format then reinstallation. The cursor i believed u can go to control panel and click on the cursor to fixed it.

what kind of xp cd do you have, format and recovery, upgrade xp, full install, downloaded copy on a partition or drive? what brand of pc do you have?

I have a xp cd to reinstall the operating system, that came with the computer.

Gateway 500S
P4/2.0 ghz
40 gb hdd
512 ddr ram

remember to choose format the partition you pick for the install. don't choose a quick format xchoose complete format.
