Windows Update Web Site Problem

I've recently been made unable to download any updates from the Windows Update web site. I can download from any other web site but that one. When I try to download a update I agree to the Microsoft pop up window and then the update box appears saying preparing to download updates and nothing happens. I can download updates from Microsoft Office Xp site.........HELP!!!!

Pentium 4 2.0 ghz
2 hard drives 1)80gig 1)45gig
Windows Professional XP with SP!

Don't worry. Sometimes I also have problems with WindowsUpdate. I think is a fault of Microsoft servers...
