cannot access folder after putting restriction

I put some restrictions on a folder and then later had to change from Domain to work group. Now when i try to access that folder it says that i dont have access. any suggestions?

Put it back to Domain, remove the restrictions, then put it back to Workgroup and reapply the restrictions. Sorry, but I reckon it's the only way . . .

if your the admin, change the owner of the folder, then add youself to have full permission to it

I have tried but there seems to be no restrictions on the folder as i see it. But yes maybe i will try and add it back to the domain and check. Thanks for your response.
