Need Help w/Virtual Memory error

When I try to run the Heath Kit A+ testing program I get the error "Director Player 6 - This program requires at least 3MB of virtual memory to run". I am running XP Home 2002 SP1 on an AMD XP2100 w/1GB DDR2100 ram. The virtual memory is set to 1536MG. The system memory usage is showing 1024MG physical memory Total Windows memory 3615MG. 3487MG Free. I am also having a problem with some java menus on a web site that I don't have problems with on other machines.

I installed XP on Sunday and went ahead and installed SP1 before loading any programs or trying the web site , so I already uninstalled SP1 and still had the same problems . I went ahead and reinstalled SP1 again. ARRRRGGGGG.

Thanks in advance for any help. This problem is really starting to irriatate me .

Thanks , I found that too by using "feeling lucky" in Google. Setting the max to 200 did the trick. I am still not able to use the java menu on some websites. I installed Suns VM and it now is visable but not functioning.

the site in quesion is http://www.2cuz.com/. The menus at the top left don't work. Before I loaded the Sun VM they didn't even show up.
