CDRW not reading / writing after re-installing XP SP1

Same thing happened with me too, I re-install XP SP1 and cdrw stop working, I can see it in my computer, but after double click it shows blank.

when I try to burn somthing nero says, insert disc.
this is very weired. I try to re-installed xp hundreds of times but problem is same.

I boot up with 98 startup disk, but it shows drive not ready. I install win 98, it says no disc in drive. it was perfectly working fine. after I re-install xp then its start giving me problem, I have creative CDRW 8x4x32.

someone plz. help me.
I have already tried "Upperfilters" "Lowerfilters" trick butno help. also tried nero registry checker, but no help.

I never used roxio or easy cd creator, what I beleive that I burn the last cd with Alcohal 120%. but this thing is hapenning after re-installing xp.
I have a DVD too, and thats working fine.
even I try to install xp without my CDRW and after installation i put the CDRW back but no help, xp is detecting creative CDRW but its not showing me any file in explorer and not burning too.

I beleive that maybe some gurus overthere can help me, plz. advise me something, plz. I am going crazy on this problem now. thanks alot.
