Windows XP reset password wizrad only works if you part of a domain computer.

What is is your situation ? are you part of the domain of you have an stand alone system? Did you really forgot the password or you are just testing this function ?

Password Reset Disk

If you are on a standalone computer, when you type an incorrect password for a user account, XP displays a little balloon asking you if you have forgotten your password. In this balloon is a link to the forgotten password wizard, which will promt you to insert the password reset disk into the drive.

Try using this! Works like a charm and works on 98/2000/xp... I know, tried them all.

Best thing, reset the password and when it asks you for a new password (the script), type *, this will blank out the password.

I downloaded the ISO and burned it to a cd, then rebooted the PC using the cd i burned and it automaticaly starts the script, simple yes/no stuff.

Check it out!
