100 percent CPU utilisation

Dear members,

i use windows XP professional.I have a problem with my computer now.

My windows task manager shows a process called explorer.exeexplorer.exe

which is taking almost 99 % of CPU Utilisation which makes my system very slow.If i end that process my system gets hanged the i have to restart my system ....again after some time the explorer.exe is starting .......

My antivirus software is not detecting any virus.

Can anybody find a solution for me.

Thanks in advance.

Do you use Kazaa or any other type of file and virus sharing applications?

Have you run Spybot to check for scumware?
