Service Pack Install Interrupted, Endless boot.

Ok, here's the problem:

While installing Service Pack 1 on a computer, I went to go plug in the monitor cable and accidentally turned the power off with my elbow.

Now when I try to boot the computer it gets to the loading Windows XP screen and just reboots again in an endless cycle. I tried to boot from the Windows XP CD, I put it as first boot device but it just keeps booting from the hard drive. This system uses SCSI hard drives as well, and I think this is why I can't change the boot device. I don't want to reinstall Windows on this system and all the programs... I need it like it was before all of this.

Go over the Bios setting one more time,, I think you have missed a setting,, I know there is problem with having SCSI HD and booting from CD but it is possible,, I have seen it done,, I don't know if you have to disable primary IDE device in BIOS or what ,, so go over the BIOS setting and everytime you make a change, boot once again till you get it right .
